The Practice Manager
Christine Stebbings
Christine is responsible for the efficient and professional management of the practice and her main objective is to ensure the highest standard of patient care for you and your family. Your comments and help are always welcome, and if you have any enquiries or complaints, please ask to speak with Christine.
Reception Manager
Liz Cochrane
Liz has a key role in the management team and offers support and
guidance to the reception and administration staff.
Reception Team
The medical receptionists are here to assist you and offer the highest standard of patient care. Their job is very demanding with approximately 300 enquiries each day. They are all highly trained with extensive experience of assessing information and making complex decisions.

They are available on a daily basis between 8.30am - 5.30pm by appointment. They do a range of treatment room procedures including ECGs, ear syringing, smears, blood pressure and removal of stitches. They also run respiratory clinics, cryotherapy clinics, diabetic clinics and coronary heart disease clinics as well as offering health promotion and family planning advice.
A phlebotomist runs a clinic Monday to Friday 8.30 - 10.30am.
District Nurses
We have a team of district nurses who provide care for people who are housebound. They can be contacted on 0131 537 4461.
Community Receptionists
We also have two community receptionists who deal with appointments for
our Physiotherapists, Health Visitors, Podiatrists, Citizens Advice Bureau, Community
Psychiatric Nurses, Community Midwives, Speech Therapist, Dietician, Smoking
Cessation Nurse and Alcohol Counsellor. They can be contacted on 0131 537 4440.
Registrars and Students
Our practice is a training/teaching practice. Our registrars are fully qualified and have a great deal of hospital experience. Registrars are attached to our practice for 12 months. The practice is also involved in the training of medical students. Patients should be aware that we take care to maintain confidentiality at all times.
