HOW
DO I...
CONTACT
THE SURGERY?
We will try to answer the phone promptly and to ensure that there are sufficient staff available to do this. You should be able to speak to a doctor by telephone.
HOW
DO I...
MAKE
AN APPOINTMENT?
Appointments may be made by telephoning 0131 537 4407 or by calling at
the surgery. Routine appointments may be made well in advance (maximum two months),
which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time best suitable to your
requirements. Please note that it is one person per appointment. If you cannot
keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist
in over-subscribed situations. We now offer pre-bookable GP appointments from
7.00 - 8.00am Monday to Friday. Please call 0131 537 4407.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
A HOME VISIT?
Patients are requested to telephone before 10.00am if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
TEST RESULTS?
Please phone between 11.00am - 3.00pm on 0131 537 4401.
HOW DO I...
REGISTER?
Patients wishing to register with the practice need to make an appointment with the practice nurse for a registration examination. We also ask for ID and for proof of address ie a utility bill.
